Repeated recipient of grants and participant of American and European trainings.

Graduated from Vladivostok State Medical Institute, department of pediatrics in 1982. Internship course in anesthesiology-resuscitation. From 1983 till 1986 he was employed as an expert in resuscitation of intensive care unit at City Clinical Emergency Care Hospital № 2 in Vladivostok. From 1986 till 1987 – doctor of mobile children’s resuscitation team of emergency care at resuscitation and consultation center. In 1987 he was sent on business to Uzbekistan. In 1988 he was awarded with a certificate of honor by the Ministry of Public Health of the USSR and Ministry of Public Health of Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. From 1988 till 1989 - anesthesiologist- expert in resuscitation at the Regional Clinical Hospital. From 1989 till 1995 a children’s resuscitation and consultation center at Primorsky Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital was established. Within the same period with the direct participation of V.V. GLUSHKO 3 new children’s resuscitation divisions in Vladivostok and Primorsky region were established. From 1995 till present he has taken charge of various medical and prophylactic institutions of the city. 1995 - 2002 – head doctor of Children’s Regional TB Hospital. In 1998 he was awarded with the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Motherland of II degree for bringing this service to a quite new stage. In 2002 - 2005 – head doctor of Primorsky Regional Diagnostic Center. Outstanding organizational abilities and knowledge of business processes enabled V.V. GLUSHKO for 2 years to save the institution from external and internal debts, form a team of like-minded persons and bring the institution to a new level of rendering medical services. From October 2005 he has been employed as a head doctor of Vladivostok City Clinical Hospital № 2 which is the largest hospital in Primorsky region. Under the guidance of VIATCHESLAV VIKTOROVICH in November 2006 Vladivostok City Clinical Hospital № 2 became a winner of the International Premium “Profession – Life” for achievements in clinical medicine. In 2008 the hospital was incorporated into 100 best medical institutions of the Far-Eastern Federal Area, in 2009 it was incorporated into 100 best medical institutions of Russia, received a status of enterprise “Reliable Reputation”, and head doctor V.V. GLUSHKO was awarded with a certificate in the nomination “The Best Head Doctor”. In October 2009 professional competence of Vladivostok City Clinical Hospital № 2 was rewarded with a diploma of the European Quality Organization (EVROS Registered in EOQ).
